【摘要】:Thisstandardspecifiesamethodfortheon-siteinstallation,retrievalandtestingofgeotextilesamples,irrespectiveoftheparticulardegradationmechanismstowhichtheyareexposed.Themethodisalsoappropriatetotestformechanicaldamage,muchofwhichoccursduringinstallation,andtoprovideanownerwithinformationaboutthestateofthegeotextileorgeotextile-relatedproductinhisstructure.NOTE:Thedurabilityofgeotextilesorgeotextile-relatedproductsisassessedbyshort-termacceleratedtestsunderconditionsmoreextremethanthoseexperiencedinservice.Inordertoestablishthevalidityofthesetestsitisessentialtocomparetheirpredictionswithtestsmadeonmaterialextractedfromsite.
