【摘要】:Theexperimentalproceduresandphysicalconstantsprovidedbythistestmethod,whenusedinconjunctionwithTestMethodD1015,allowthedeterminationofthepurityofthematerialundertest.Aknowledgeofthepurityofthesehydrocarbonsisoftenneededtohelpcontroltheirmanufactureandtodeterminetheirsuitabilityforuseasreagentchemicalsorforconversiontootherchemicalintermediatesorfinishedproducts.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthesamplinganddeterminationofpurityofessentiallypurecompoundsforwhichthefreezingpointsforzeroimpurityandcryoscopicconstantsaregiven.Thecompoundstowhichthetestmethodisapplicableare:(Warning-Extremelyflammableliquidsandliquefiedgases.)1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesinparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecifichazardstatements,seeSections1,6,8,and10-26.Note1Thistestmethodcoverssystemsinwhichtheimpuritiesformwiththemajorcomponentasubstantiallyidealorsufficientlydilutesolution,andalsosystemswhichdeviatefromtheideallaws,providedthat,inthelattercase,theloweringofthefreezingpointasafunctionoftheconcentrationisknownforeachmostprobableimpurityinthegivensubstance.
